Project Manager - Healthcare BI Project

Location:  New Hampshire (travel to NH approximately 3 weeks a month)
Position Status:  Full Time, Contractor, Contract-to-Hire
Duration:  8+ months

Description

Jimenez Consulting Solutions is seeking an experienced Business Intelligence (BI) Project Manager to evolve a data governance program, master data management (MDM) program, and data quality program for a healthcare company in the northeast. The PM will have the leadership of the healthcare company’s BI Director and support of a Subject Matter Specialist who will be allocated to the project on a part-time basis as well as a full-time business analyst. The project manager will provide project management, meeting facilitation, training, and governance for this project. Project Manager should be results-oriented, proactive, an excellent communicator and have the ability to work independently as well as in collaboration with a team.

The responsibilities of this role will include the following:

  • Serve as the day-to-day, onsite project manager
  • Serve as a trusted business advisor to management level client/vendor/alliance/etc.
  • Develop full-scale project plans and associated communications documents
  • Effectively communicate project expectations and status to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion
  • Liaise with project stakeholders on an ongoing basis
  • Effectively manage change to project goals, scope, and/or deliverables and impacts to project
  • Draft and submit budget proposals, and recommend subsequent budget changes where necessary
  • Determine and assess need for additional staff and/or consultants and make the appropriate recruitments if necessary during project cycle
  • Delegate tasks and responsibilities appropriately
  • Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the project team
  • Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path
  • Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools
  • Develop standard data management deliverables including program plans for master data management, data governance, and data quality
  • Track project milestones and deliverables
  • Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations
  • Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans
  • Define project success criteria and disseminate them to involved parties throughout project life cycle
  • Coach, mentor, motivate and supervise project team members, client team members and vendors
  • Build, develop, and grow any business relationships with the client and within the account

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Management Information Systems, Health Care, Business or other related areas or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of IT experience
  • 2-5 years of business intelligence project management experience
  • 2 years of experience designing and implementing enterprise level master data management and data governance programs
  • 2+ years of business and data analysis experience
  • 2-3 years of consulting experience
  • Desire to work in a dynamic environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong executive presence
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Ability to defuse tension among project team, should it arise

Project Manager - Healthcare

Location: Varies; Scottsdale, AZ
Position Status: Full Time, Contract-to-Hire

Description

Jimenez Consulting Solutions is seeking experienced Healthcare Project Managers to engage in a variety of healthcare efforts, including but not limited to, Business Intelligence, Clinical Documentation, Revenue Cycle, ICD-9 to ICD-10 transition, and Health Information Exchange efforts.  The PM will have the leadership client and JCS as well as support of Subject Matter Specialists and Business Analysts who will be allocated to the efforts as needed. Project Manager should be results-oriented, proactive, an excellent communicator and have the ability to work independently as well as in collaboration with a team.

The responsibilities of this role will include the following:

  • Serve as a trusted business advisor to management level client/vendor/alliance/etc.
  • Provide performance feedback and formal reviews to JCS project team members
  • Serve as a mentor to more junior resources on your project

In addition to being a project manager on a healthcare project, employee candidates will also have non-project-related responsibilities such as:

  • Serve as an active participant in the JCS Healthcare practice
  • Lead and/or contribute to a variety of proposals related to healthcare and other industries
  • Serve as a counselor to 1-4 counselees
  • Serve as a mentor to more junior resources within JCS

Requirements

  • 6+ years of project management experience
  • 3+ years of healthcare IT experience (e.g., clinical or PRC solution implementation experience)
  • Ability to effectively communicate with clinical leaders, revenue cycle leaders, operations leaders and IT leaders
  • Strong executive presence
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory items and impacts to healthcare
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Description

Managers are active leaders and contributors who play a key role as a Project Manager, Senior Business Analyst, and/or Architect.  They may serve any industry in which we serve.  Managers should be results-oriented, proactive, an excellent communicator and have the ability to work independently as well as in collaboration with a team.

The responsibilities of this role will include the following:

  • Direct and manage project development from beginning to end

Description

Consultants / Senior Consultants are active contributors who play a key role as Business Analysts, Project Controls Analyst and Project Managers on a wide range of IT consulting projects. These projects may include IT strategy and planning, package selection and integration, roadmap development, process improvement, large-scale systems implementation and many more activities.

Summer Intern

Location:  Scottsdale, AZ (may include travel to other locations)
Position Status:  Full Time (during summer months)

Description

As a Summer Intern you will work with a team of consulting professionals to help our clients solve some of their most complex IT and business problems. You will gain valuable insights and experience in the IT consulting space. If you have an interest in Management and Information Technology Consulting, or if you are excited about understanding critical business problems that require enabling technology as part of their solution, then joining our Summer Intern Program will give you on-the-job insight into a career in information technology consulting.

Your responsibilities may range from assessing client issues, defining requirements, providing training and overviews on different applications, helping design, develop, and implement strategic technology and business recommendations. Your internship should enhance not only your consulting skills, but also your communication and networking skills. As a Summer Intern you’ll take part in a series of internal projects, client projects, social outings and office-wide meetings that will allow you to expand your critical thinking, business and technology skills.

You will receive ongoing informal as well as formal, written feedback throughout your summer internship, using the same guidelines that are used for our full-time consultants.
