
Susan Jimenez has more than 25 years of consulting experience, with an emphasis on information technology and program management. Her work has covered all stages of the systems life cycle in both package integration and custom development environments. She has successfully leveraged her significant project and program management experience to help her clients solve an array of complex business challenges. Prior to founding Jimenez Consulting Solutions she was the Ernst & Young (E&Y) top local executive for the Phoenix marketplace. Sue's consulting career began at E&Y where she progressed through the ranks from staff consultant to partner. She later became a vice- president with Cap Gemini Ernst & Young (CGE&Y). Ms. Jimenez has experience leading teams ranging in size from 3 to more than 225 people. She applies a holistic, analytical, and results-oriented approach to business and technology issues. She has worked extensively with individuals at all levels in her clients’ organizations, from end users to senior executives. She has experience in numerous industries, including public sector, telecommunications, healthcare, manufacturing, financial services, and higher education. She has also held a number of leadership positions. She graduated with distinction from the University of Arizona with a bachelor of science in management information systems.
Laura Cross, co-founder and Chief Operating Officer of Jimenez Consulting Solutions (JCS), is responsible for contracting, financial operations, procurement, vendor relationships, and human resources. Laura is known for her ability to leverage her technical knowledge and business acumen to manage large, complex projects spanning a variety of industries and solutions. Prior to partnering with Susan Jimenez to found JCS, she was employed for 7 years as a consulting professional by Ernst & Young, LLP. Laura has served in a variety of client facing roles including account executive, program manager, project manager, and technical advisor for organizations with regional, national, and global operations. She has experience in healthcare, telecommunications, broadband, and manufacturing/distribution industries. Prior to beginning her consulting career Laura worked as an application developer and systems integrator in the manufacturing and distribution industry. Ms. Cross graduated from Grove City College with a bachelor's degree in computer systems. She and her husband, Alec, have two children.
With more than 12 years of management consulting experience, Jim provides both technical and non-technical solutions to clients in healthcare, financial services, government, utility/energy, and aerospace. He has experience working with individuals at all levels within client organizations from end users to senior executives. He is a proven leader and has managed all phases of individual projects as well as managing and providing oversight for portfolios of up to 20 simultaneous projects and programs while maintaining a track record of delivering projects on time and on budget. While most of his work has been project-based, he has also filled strategic roles for clients. These have included working with senior leadership to create 10-year information technology (IT) capital spending plans, facilitating the creation of and documenting corporate IT strategy, creating a $600+ million capital budget for a large clinical program, and creating status and business case materials presented to senior executives and boards of directors.
Jim also has more than two years of experience managing an IT department responsible for a 2500+ user community. He has been responsible for developing IT and program strategic and tactical plans, capital and operating budgets and organizational design. He has also developed policies and procedures in the areas of change management, issue resolution, hardware/software inventory management, security and business continuity/disaster recovery planning. Mr. Gibson graduated with honors from the University of Arizona with a bachelor's degree in management information systems
Linda Campbell has more than 25 years of healthcare and information technology experience, with an emphasis on executive leadership and management; strategic and tactical planning; fiscal management; large scale, complex program and project management; system implementations and support; and software development process. Her work has covered all areas of information technology including relationship management, strategic and tactical planning, operations and service delivery, fiscal management; system selection and integration life cycle; and software development life cycle. She has successfully leveraged her significant leadership and project/program management experience with consistent execution and delivery of high-quality outcomes in complex business and technical environments.
Ms. Campbell progressed from a clinician to project/program manager to management to executive leadership, including a Chief Information Officer position. She has worked for a variety of large organizations including healthcare providers, healthcare vendors, and service providers and has worked extensively with individuals at all levels, from end users to senior executives and physicians to external partners. Ms. Campbell has a bachelor's degree in allied medical professions and a master's degree in management science from The Ohio State University.
Ms. Campbell is the current President of the Arizona Chapter of the Health Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS), a Fellow with HIMSS (FHIMSS), and is a Certified Professional in Health Information Management and Systems (CPHIMS). Ms. Campbell also is an active member of the international Project Management Institute (PMI) and holds a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
Mr. Chan is an extremely client focused program manager who has 10 years of management consulting experience with payers and providers in the health care industry. He has led teams ranging in size from three people to more than 100, and projects with budgets from $50K to over $10MM.
Mr. Chan applies an analytical and results-oriented approach. He has experience implementing large, complex vendor solutions and custom application development in the areas of: revenue cycle, Medicare, health plans, data warehouse, and Infrastructure. His experience includes program/project management, vendor management, business analysis, data analysis, solution design, architecture design, development and testing. David graduated magna cum laude from the University of Arizona with a bachelor's degree in management information systems.
Ms. Clancy who leads the Public Sector practice at Jimenez Consulting Solutions (JCS) is an accomplished executive with more than 25 years of technology and operations experience. Prior to joining JCS Cheryl worked for 11 years in the consulting practice of Deloitte where she served clients in healthcare, legal, entertainment, insurance, and state and county governments. She is known for successfully leveraging her technology, executive and clinical, backgrounds to help organizations resolve complex issues. Cheryl has successfully planned and managed enterprise-wide and focused innovative projects. Before embarking on her consulting career she held executive positions in two large information technology (IT) organizations. As an IT Director she led several large teams which developed supported and implemented custom and package solutions. Cheryl has experience in all phases of the systems life cycle, including application development, integration and program management. Earlier in her career, as a registered nurse, she worked as an instructor responsible for developing and delivering cardiovascular nursing curricula. She also practiced in medical, neonatal and cardiovascular critical care areas. Ms. Clancy graduated with a bachelor of science in nursing from Arizona State University and has a masters in business administration from the W.P. Carey School of Business.
Ms. Fischer is a highly motivated and results oriented healthcare consultant with experience in hospital business development, coordination of revenue cycle software implementation, project management, biological research management, and academic program development. She has successfully built and managed partnerships with large organizations including hospitals facilities, clinical laboratories, academic institutions, and assorted vendors. In leveraging her project management experience, she has delivered high-quality outcomes in complex business and technical environments. Ms. Fischer began her career in management of life science research where she became interested in the fundamentals of information management and strategic distribution of data. Throughout her career progression, Ms. Fischer has excelled in a variety of challenging positions focused on improving information flow within the field of healthcare. Ms. Fischer holds a bachelor's degree in biology and a master of health sector management from Arizona State University.
Mr. McShanag has over 15 years technology and business leadership experience across the globe in IT management, business consulting, and global implementation of enterprise wide technology. He is certified in program management and Six Sigma with strong knowledge in business process and IT enablement across multiple industries such as health care, finance, mining, non-profit, distribution, and manufacturing.
Mr. McShanag has extensive experience with both custom system development and package system selection and implementation projects. Additionally, he has provided program management leadership to the implementation of key business process improvement and technology solutions across the globe as well as establishing program management offices (PMO) and IT shared services solutions at several Fortune 200 enterprises.
Soon after arriving in the USA he was part of the management team that successfully took a company IPO. Prior to this, IBM relocated Mr. McShanag from Australia to the USA were he was an integral part of the IBM Consulting Group and enjoyed a meteoritic rise in the consulting practice working with multi national companies on their strategic initiatives across the globe.
Today, Mr. McShanag has the responsibility of leading and developing the Project, Program and Portfolio Management Service line at Jimenez as well as working with clients to lead enterprise wide technology enabled changes initiatives.
Colm Moran is an experienced, energetic and hands-on consultant with excellent Executive, Program/Project Management and Business Analysis skills. He has an ability to drive, design and deliver impacting technology and process solutions, and to manage projects and teams of all sizes. He has over 16 years of experience consulting and leading teams, establishing strategies, solving problems, and helping organizations take advantage of technology to better their performance and to further their competitive advantages.
Colm has worked in a wide variety of industries including healthcare (acute and ambulatory care, patient revenue cycle, enterprise solutions, patient identification, and more), managed care, telecommunications, software, manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, oil and gas, public utilities. Colm is the lead for the JCS Telecommunications industry team. He has consulted with Cap Gemini Ernst & Young, Booz Allen & Hamilton, American Management Systems and Software Design Concepts, and was the Sr. Director of Enterprise Applications for a leading global eLearning company supporting a worldwide user-base.
Colm has also worked on many enterprise applications, custom application development, large systems integration, process reengineering and change initiatives, solution selections, technology and SOX audits, and the creation and implementation of strategies and their related projects in healthcare, managed care and wide variety of other settings. Mr. Moran is an active member of the Project Management Institute. He holds a bachelor's degree in computer science from Brown University and a has a master of business administration from the University of Michigan.
Josh Peterson is a client-centric, results-oriented professional with over four years of IT and management consulting experience. Focusing primarily on systems integration efforts within the financial services and healthcare industries, he is experienced in all phases of the delivery lifecycle, including: requirements analysis and development, process design, systems capability assessment, business case and roadmap development, data validation and conversion, deployment support, configuration, end-user training, testing, defects management, and project management. Within the financial services industry, Josh has experience in payments, mergers and acquisitions, loan originations, capital markets, wealth management, and broker/dealer operations. Prior to joining JCS, Josh was a Consultant in Accenture’s Financial Services community of practice; therein, his various engagements with Fortune 500 clients included an international assignment to coordinate the activities of an offshore development team. He graduated Magna Cum Laude with a bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire.
Bradley Pristelski has three years of consulting experience which has been focused on project management. Prior to joining Jimenez Consulting he was a Program and Project Management Specialist with Perot Systems Inc. Bradley has experience in both government and healthcare industries. He has also held a number of leadership positions and was recognized as the Security Forces Officer of the Year for the United States Air Force (USAF) European Command. Bradley began managing projects while he was an officer in the Air Force. There he managed highly technical and custom physical / information security projects. Among them was an initiative that involved the incorporation of leading edge technology to create an integrated base defense module. He also directed an effort that combined unmanned aerial vehicle technology with ground sensor and tactical surveillance equipment to form a multi-layered, security defense. As a consultant in the private sector, he has managed implementations of document imaging, electronic health records and contract management solutions for the largest not-for-profit healthcare organization in California. Bradley graduated with a bachelor's degree in legal services from the United States Airforce Academy and has a master of arts in philosophy.
Ms. Sing has successfully leveraged her knowledge of project management and finance to help clients implement programs, develop applications; plan for and manage relocation of systems; perform cost evaluations; conduct product feasibility analyses; and carry out security and risk assessments. She has also led financial and technical audits. Prior to joining Jimenez Consulting, she worked for more than 10 years as an information technology project manager at a Fortune 500 company where she was responsible for several large initiatives, one of which, was a multi-national consolidation project affecting more than 1,000 people. Before her career in the information technology field, Carolyn was employed for nearly 16 years in the financial services industry. As a project manager, Carolyn has been responsible for: planning, budgeting, defining resource requirements, preparing status reports and deliverables, managing vendor / supplier relationships, negotiating pricing; managing contracts, invoicing, allocating costs and managing issue escalation and resolution. Carolyn's experience in healthcare has been focused on technology to support ambulatory care including electronic health records (EHR).
Mr. Thompson is an experienced consultant and project management executive with over 13 years of management consulting experience and another 4 years of management experience in industry roles. Mr. Thompson’s experience has been focused in the financial services, health care, and consumer product industries. Mr. Thompson is the Service Line Leader for JCS’ IT Effectiveness Service Line and is an integral part of JCS’ IT consulting in Phoenix, Arizona. Mr. Thompson was part of Ernst & Young’s Consulting practice where he led and managed several successful performance improvement, merger and acquisition, and reengineering engagements for clients. After E&Y, he moved to a mid-west regional IT consulting firm where he led many strategic initiatives for their largest account. His efforts included several IT strategic planning projects for all customer populations served by IT. Mr. Thompson’s industry roles include Program Management of multi-year, strategic systems implementation and transformation projects.
Mr. Thompson’s core strengths include developing and executing multi-year strategic plans, leading strategic business transformation, process improvement, or information technology efforts to meet business needs and manage strategic projects and programs. Some of Mr. Thompson’s unique skills include helping to bridge the communication gap between business and IT to better leverage IT investments. Linda is an experienced leader in the information technology industry who has successfully managed projects and accounts for more than 24 years. She has a proven track record in healthcare, finance, risk management, and research systems. She has full project life cycle experience including contracting, design, development, implementation, and documentation. Linda is a quality and results oriented problem solver with superior cross cultural communication skills. She has effectively worked with clients at all organizational levels and managed local and international teams. Linda has extensive experience in a broad spectrum of healthcare domains having provided design requirements and project management for clinical decision support and regulatory reporting, document imaging, clinical results review, physician order entry, enterprise person index, HL7 messaging, and patient consent systems. She has led multi-disciplinary teams comprised of clinicians, business analysts, application and system engineers, and interface developers. Linda’s combination of healthcare and technical skills has enabled her to contribute to Health Level 7 (HL7), an international healthcare standard, as a designer, reviewer and presenter. Linda holds a bachelor's degree in computer science from the University of Kansas.
