Representative Projects

We worked with a manufacturer of custom, made-to-order products to improve their business processes and technology so that they could increase their capacity tenfold and expand from local to nationwide distribution. We helped define requirements for an integrated manufacturing, customer service, and accounting system, and then helped select and implement that system and the associated business processes.

We helped a client manage action plans imposed on them by their auditors. We established relationships with the auditors and were able to eliminate some actions by clearly articulating how existing policies, procedures, and technical controls addressed the issues. For the remaining action plans we worked closely with the client to implement the necessary procedures and controls and achieve compliance.

We assisted a software vendor with an evaluation of their customer support function. This included an analysis of their support web site and related business processes, as well as detailed recommendations for improvement and a specific plan for how to achieve those improvements.

We helped an e-Learning company assess whether its existing accounting and order management system would provide effective support through their upcoming IPO (Initial Public Offering). We did a detailed analysis of their existing software applications, and developed comprehensive recommendations for their desired “future state“. We also prepared a detailed plan for how to move from their current situation to this future state.

We have served on numerous projects in the role of Project Manager, Program Manager, and Program Management Office Director. These projects have ranged from 2 to over 250 team members, from several weeks to several years in duration, from locally-based projects to projects involving over 35 countries, and from one business process or system to complete development of significant new business ventures.

We helped a hospital reduce the risks associated with using a wireless network for some of their critical business processes. We conducted a penetration test to determine whether their systems were vulnerable to external as well as internal attack, and found trouble areas the client did not know about. Our recommendations helped them fix the issues and improve their security.
